Gunnar has 28 years of experience from the industry from AS Stålprodukter (NOV), Aktro AS (NOV), Axess and Alpa; and 21 as a manager in various positions.

He has had positions as Department manager of the Lifting Certification Business, Engineering manager, IT Manager, HSE manager, SVP for Business development in Axess AS and CEO of Alpa AS. He has held board position in Axess since 2001 and been director of the board in Sensorlink AS. He is part of the board in Axio AS.
Key qualifications is service and product development, organization and contract development and growth of businesses based on close client and market interaction. Gunnar had a key role in establishing and development of AxTech AS, Sensonlink AS, Alpa AS and the international growth of Axess AS.

Gunnar is graduated MSc Naval Architect from NTNU Marine Technology, and hold a climbing safety certificate “Brattkort” for indoor climbing.
